Founded in 2023, Move Beyond is a dynamic dance company in Hong Kong. Move Beyond is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of local dancers by offering a variety of dance training programmes designed to cultivate talent. The focus of these programmes lies primarily in Street Dance, Jazz, and Contemporary Dance, catering to a broad audience of aspiring performers.

The professional faculty at Move Beyond comprises a diverse team of local and internationally acclaimed dancers and choreographers. Each instructor possesses extensive professional experience in stage performance, choreography, and teaching. Their outstanding achievements contribute to a rich learning environment that inspires students to explore and develop their artistic potential.

In addition to training local young dancers, Move Beyond is committed to promoting the art of dance within the community and schools. Move Beyond aims to increase the public’s appreciation of dance, allowing more individuals to experience the transformative power of dance. Ultimately, Move Beyond seeks to enhance the quality of life for the public by making dance accessible to all.

Move Beyond has collaborated with various organizations, including the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, to create impactful community and educational programmes. Notable projects include the Taking Centre Stage: School Performing Arts in Practice Scheme – Move Beyond “Stylish Stage: Finding the Groove and Feel Comfortable on the Stage” Street Dance or Jazz Dance in Practice Project (2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26); the 18dART – Community Arts Scheme: “Dance on E” Community Dance Project; and the 18dART – Community Arts Scheme: “Street Dance In Full Swing” Community Dance Project (2025/26 and 2026/27). Move Beyond has also organized dance education and outreach activities under the School Culture Day Scheme (2024/25).

On the international stage, Move Beyond is committed to promoting Hong Kong dance through international cultural exchange. In 2024, the company was invited to perform at “Immersive Hong Kong” in Dubai by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Dubai. In 2025, Move Beyond was invited by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office to participate in a European tour curated by the Hong Kong Arts Centre (Comix Home Base), presenting the cross-media performance in Belgium, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria and Poland.
